With the regard to global warming, temperature increasing significantly, the underlaying concept of this project relied on catching the wind and give a boost to the air flow in Taichung City. In terms of social and culture aspects, this project aims to provide young artist affordable spaces to work and live.
Taichung city locates on moonsoon climate, however, due to the intensity of buildings, wind can barely blow into street block. This project demonstrates a solution that catch, guide and boost the air flow through spaces. In order to found the best result for the air flow, parametric design solution, grasshopper, has involved with this project. As a proof, environmental simulation software, Autocad Simulation, has used in this project as well.
